HASHTAGS
Hashtags are a great way to explore and filter the the social media world to find information on topics that you need or want to learn more about. I have used hashtags to find a lot of information about history for my classroom on many occasions.
TWITTER CHATS
I have been a part of twitter chats since we started using Twitter...mainly BTC twitter chats that we hold a couple of times a year. I am personally more of a twitter chat reader. I like to read the responses, but sometimes I find some information that I can use in my classroom.
I'm just knowing how to use hashtags and following them, instead of following a specific person. I haven't been on a chat for awhile, but when I was on one, I learned a lot that I could also use in my classroom. Hope you can find out some more great things you can use in your classroom.
ReplyDeleteI love hashtags. Sometimes I look for weird new ideas with them... also makes it much easier to find information on a specific topic. Twitter has made this political cycle much more fun for me.
